Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters are made with premium advanced synthetic media technology that results in fibers that have a controlled size, shape and smaller fiber diameter. The controlled media manufacturing process allows Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters to deliver both higher dirt-holding capacity at the same pressure differential and higher efficiency compared to conventional cellulose filters. The synthetic media also has better durability with usage. Throughout the service life of a cellulose filter, hot oil will degrade the resins that bind the media. The synthetic media technology uses a wire-screen backing pleated with the media, resulting in strength superior to even the best oil filters. Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters offer extended service intervals, greater engine protection to prolong engine and equipment life, improved lubricant flow, improved cold start performance and lower operating costs. Donaldson Endurance™ Oil Filters With Nanofiber vs. Conventional Cellulose Small, consistent synthetic fibers trap smaller particles and hold more contaminants, resulting in lower restriction.   Cellulose fibers are inconsistent in size and shape, allowing more contaminants to pass through, resulting in higher restriction and lower capacity. Donaldson Endurance™ Air Filters with exclusive nanofiber technology offer longer engine life, longer filter life, initial efficiency up to 99.99 percent and five times more capacity. Extensive capacity and efficiency testing have proven them to be among the best air filters for heavy-duty applications.

The nanofiber technology causes submicron contaminants to be held on the surface layer of smaller fibers. This filtration characteristic is only possible with this new type of air filtration technology. In on-highway applications, where the contaminant is primarily submicron in size, Donaldson Endurance filters cause less restriction than conventional filters with cellulose media. The smaller interfiber spaces of nanofiber technology have a higher efficiency and capture more contaminant.

The following illustration may help visualize these phenomena: Imagine two filters, a chain link fence and a mosquito net, with a tennis ball being a dirt particle. As you may have observed, a tennis ball will fit quite nicely into an opening of a chain link fence, but will obstruct the hole almost 100%. Now imaging the same tennis ball covering a mosquito net. The tennis ball, at the point of contact with the netting, will obstruct much less filter area than the chain link fence example. In fact, air will flow around the tennis ball all the way to the point of contact. It will take many more particles to obstruct the netting surface area than the chain link fence.

New AMSOIL Foam Air Filter Cleaner (FFC) is a specially formulated high quality detergent offering quick, efficient and easy cleaning and preservation of AMSOIL Power Sports Air Filters, TS filters and other wetted gauze and motor and power sports foam filters. Its spray application offers maximum convenience, speed of application and even coverage. Simply spray cleaner liberally on both sides, allow to soak for 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with low pressure water and allow to completely air dry before applying AMSOIL High Tack Foam Filter Oil.

Dual Remote Oil Filtration System

The AMSOIL By-Pass Oil Filter provides the best possible filtration protection against wear, oil degradation, rust and corrosion. Working in conjunction with the engine’s full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL By-Pass Filter operates by filtering oil on a "partial-flow" basis. It draws approximately ten percent of the oil at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants and water that full-flow filters can’t remove. The AMSOIL By-Pass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.
